The angel that appeared before Moses is the angel of the presence of the lord, quoting from scripture: And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. God cannot be sustained by anything outside of himself. The sustenance of a fire is dependent on a wood. the presence of God is the rest of God.
