The Dimension of Peace by Pastor E.A Adeboye
Peace is good and needful, whether to an individual or a society. The presence of peace is to be cherished above having riches without peace. There is a dimension of peace in our environment, this has to do with physical security challenges, and the most basic of the dimensions is the absence of conflict. We cannot sustain this dimension alone without violence – the opposite of peace. So define peace with another dimension: Interdependent relationships between people seeking harmony. Peacemaking then requires building bridges. Then reach out to the other with kindness and win-win solutions. That may finish the job, building community and keeping conflict at bearable levels. The highest level of peace a man needs to attain is pea e of God. This is why no one can boast of security except by coming to Jesus.
