Find below some nuggets before downloading… Wisdom can be accessible and can produce wonders in a person’s life, if and when received and there are Biblical parameters for categorising people into wise or foolish persons. What to learn from the above scripture is that there is a place/location that provides a probability for finding wisdom or foolishness. The Bible tells us that there is a habitation of the wise person and there is a habitation for fools. This means that when God wants to grant a man wisdom, He moves him to a certain location, or a place of the wise. A foolish man spends the treasure and oil. Whereas, you will always find treasure to be desired in the dwelling of the wise. Biblical Significance Of Oil: Generally, oil is symbolic of the anointing. However, as it relates to the scripture, it doesn’t just refer to the anointing. It speaks generally about the overall process of the intimacy that leads to the anointing. It has to do with the arrival and the increase of the anointing in the life of an individual. – Midnight represents a time of weariness, discouragement. – With respect to oil, it is more about the relationship and the process leading to the oil, than the oil itself. The difference between the foolish virgins in Matthew 25: 1-13, and the widow in 2 Kings 4: 1-7 is that the virgins had vessels, but they didn’t know how to access oil, whilst the widow had oil, but she lacked vessels. The thing about the oil is that once it has been poured into a vessel, it becomes a treasure to be desired. The mysteries of the Kingdom that makes for our victory and dominion, can only be unraveled by the spirit of revelation, otherwise a Believer will study scriptures and they’ll only seem like stories. Most people do not understand that as Believers, in the excelling of our lives lives, it is first and foremost by a relationship with The Holy Spirit. Therefore, everytime we intend to grow in wisdom and live a life of dominion, the foundation of this journey is our relationship with The Holy Spirit. This relationship is what gives relevance to every other spiritual activity. The Parable of The Ten Virgins in Mathew 25:1-13 is proof that foolishness is a product of inferior decisions. Your excelling, your being anointed, your being enlightened, and your being valuable begins first and foremost with the presence of the oil. Your relationship with The Holy Spirit is what will give credence and relevance to everything about your life. Without a functional relationship with The Holy Spirit, you cannot access the wisdom from above. In having a relationship with The Holy Spirit, and in accessing divine wisdom, you might not need to borrow vessels like the widow in the Bible did. You may only need to become the vessel yourself, such that you expand, and your life becomes a blessing to others. The journey to greatness and wisdom begins when you acknowledge the value of The Holy Spirit in your life. He brings glory and beauty to an ordinary life. Most of the people you celebrate today, did not start with knowledge. They started with fellowship. Fellowship leads to knowledge, knowledge leads to faith, and faith is what births glory. You can be intelligent and still not be a solution-provider. The world gravitates towards solution-providers. When God wants to help you, He takes you to the dwelling of the wise, and in the dwelling of the wise, there are two things you must look for: 1. Oil 2. ⁠Treasure. To help an individual to become wise, you must introduce him or her to a place where the person can find, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit works with a person, He turns the person to a treasure. This turns the person to the desire of nations. Anytime you have access to oil (anointing) and you’re still struggling, it’s a problem of capacity and anytime there are plenty of vessels with no impact, it’s an issue of oil. It is possible to be a vessel, but unfortunately, be an empty vessel. Even if there is a vessel available, it needs to be full before it can become a treasure to be desired. When you cannot give life and credence to what you know, it is proof that there is an issue with the oil (The Holy Spirit). It simply means that your relationship with the Holy Spirit may have been tampered with. The Holy Spirit will always lead us to the light of Scripture. Every time there’s a depletion in any area of our lives, we should apply the formula of the oil and the vessel. It’s impossible to dwell among the wise and not eventually have the nation recognize something valuable and needed within us.
