The Word of Righteousness is revealed in the Gospel, which is the good news of God’s unmerited favor and the power for salvation. We can’t produce our own righteousness; it’s given through faith in Jesus’ sacrifice, making us right with God instantly. Right-standing with God empowered to overcome sin, live justly, and walk in God’s will, ultimately aligning believers with His divine purpose and separating them into His dominion. It means being in a right relationship with God, free from guilt, able to approach Him as if sin never existed. While righteousness is received by faith, believers grow in it, aligning their lives with God’s standard, demonstrating purity, mercy, and peacemaking.
