Christianity starts with an encounter with Jesus Christ. A genuine Christian is not simply someone who belongs to a denomination or participates in religious activities. True Christianity begins when a person is born again through faith in Jesus Christ and receives the life of God. Salvation changes a person’s spiritual identity and begins the lifelong process of transformation into the image of Christ. The message emphasizes that salvation should produce visible transformation. A changed heart produces a changed life. As believers grow in Christ, their attitudes, priorities, speech, relationships, and decisions increasingly reflect God’s character. The goal of Christianity is not merely to accumulate biblical knowledge but to become living expressions of Christ wherever we go. One of the strongest themes of the sermon is that genuine Christianity is sustained through fellowship with God. Prayer, worship, meditation on Scripture, and obedience create an atmosphere where believers continually grow in their relationship with the Lord. Without intimacy with God, Christianity easily becomes routine religion rather than a living relationship. The deeper believers know God, the more His life is revealed through them.
