God does not use men until He first makes them. This making is a rigorous, often painful process of spiritual formation where God tests a man’s heart and character to see if he can carry the weight of divine authority and agenda. God makes men by looking for specific biblical standards such as a perfect heart, sincere intentions, love, and righteousness—rather than mere availability. The key factors God looks at is total submission (breaking the will), consecration to God’s agenda, capacity for intercession, and endurance through the furnace of affliction.
