Hindrances are obstacles, so when we are talking about hindrances to praise, we are talking about obstacles to praise. Hindrances are enemies, they are barriers and limitations that prevent blessings and favour. A spiritual poison that kills acceptance of praise is pride. Pride is the over estimation of one self. Pride is a spirit. It takes root in the spirit and begin to find expression in every department of life. You must understand that whenever the glory is being shift from God onto man or self, pride becomes inevitable and destruction is always the end result. Also, depression is the gateway to oppressions. The devil is crafty in his act of manipulating the mind of men to believe a false assumption in their mind and then refuse to praise God.
