Each time we encounter God’s presence, we receive this light that transforms us, until we become witnesses of His truth. Your excelling in this Kingdom is not based solely on your understanding of the scriptures, but also on your understanding of what God is doing per time and season. The power of God follows His will, and His attention follows His will. To know where the power of God is per time, you must find out where His will is. A generation that fails to understand the advantage of the prophetic, will inevitably miss the program of God in their lives. It is one thing to be available but it is entirely another thing to be usable. Availability does not automatically equal usability. To be usable by God, there are conditions and standards that must be met. When you pray to be used by God, what happens next is not the arrival of the anointing, but the Refiner’s fire – His pruning and purification. When God calls you, He does not call you first to the nations; He calls you to Himself, and then He sends you to the nations. In the season of purging and purifying, it is not unusual for God to make heavy demands on you. The reason is often because He is preparing you for the outpouring of “New Wine”.
