The Anointing is the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. It enables the believer to understand, apply, and administer spiritual truth. Simply put, the presence of the anointing enables believers to have a spiritual connection with their Heavenly Father. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. The anointing today comes through the person of the Holy Spirit and one must release himself or herself to a healthy fellowship with the Holy Spirit since He is the originator of the anointing. The anointing is NOT for a selected few. As long as we have the Holy Spirit, then we have the anointing.
