God is not just a loving Father; He is a rigid administrator of justice. Satan legalistically exploits broken spiritual laws, curses, and ancestral covenants to keep believers in bondage. Under the Old Covenant, God distributed mercy based on sovereignty (“I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy”). In the New Covenant, mercy is legally backed by a price. Jesus took our judgment and satisfied the legal demands of justice, translating His victory into accessible, unbreakable spiritual rights for the believer. God exalts His word above His name and bounds Himself to its provisions. If the Word establishes your freedom, God’s own justice system forbids Him from denying you that reality.
