Zoe is the very life of God imparted to believers through Jesus Christ. It is this divine life that enables Christians to overcome sin, grow spiritually, fulfill God’s purpose, and reveal Christ to the world. The Christian life is not about striving to become acceptable to God but about allowing His life within to transform every aspect of our lives. The Greek word Zoe refers to the divine, eternal life of God. Unlike natural human life, Zoe is God’s own life imparted to believers at salvation. It is incorruptible, victorious, and filled with the power, wisdom, and nature of God. This divine life is the foundation of the believer’s new identity. Christianity is therefore not merely about improving human behavior but about living from the life that Christ has placed within every child of God. esus Christ is the source of divine life. Through His death and resurrection, He defeated sin and death, making eternal life available to all who believe. Salvation is not simply the cancellation of sin’s penalty but the impartation of God’s life into the believer.
