In this sermon, it was said we you seek god early to continue to change from glory to glory. God will not give you want you cannot handle. Also to becoming compatible for encounters you need Prayers and Fasting. Fasting means abstain from food, or eating little food for a period of time. You will never reach a certain level without fasting. Fast to acquire power. Examples of people that fasted and enquire an encounter is Moses, Elijah, Daniel, John and lots more.
