To be established in God is a continuous process, therefore, establishment is in levels. God expects us as His children to be stable and not live the lukewarm life of being faithful at a season and become reckless in another season through our unbelief. Your stability is required by God so as to know what and how much can be committed to your care. You can not be unstable and expect God to commit His purpose or decisions to your care. Only those who contend by submission, discipline and devotion with genuine motives get settled by God. The devil knows that once you get established, he loses his manipulative power over you and he can not deceive you anymore, so he wont allow you to seek for being established in God.
