Quoting from scripture: The sight of the glory of the Lord was likea consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. In this sermon it was said that the fire of God is a department of his glory. Fire is the nature of God: For the LORD your God is a consuming fire.
