We are not at liberty to know God the way we want because there is pathway that is cafted out for a believer to know God. And anyone who walks in this path will live a victorious life. The way to knowing God is not the only way to knowing God, and there are many route to knowing God. There is a predefined pathway to knowing God. According to scripture, there are four biblical pathway: Through scripture (it reveals the character of God and the methodology of God). Through the study of his name (the God of abraham, isaac and jacob), Through the revelation of the person Jesus, Through the advantage of experience. There is a role that experience plays in knowing God where we buy through the advantage of elders and fathers in faith. Outside this biblical pathway we cannot accurately know who God was.
