By definition, doctrine is a set of truths that are accepted by a standard and taught. When we don’t trust the standard, there will be a compromise to the reference. To begin with, there should be a level of standard that a believer must have attained after certain years of being in the kingdom. The Bible is laced with intense emphasis on the need to be grounded in sound doctrine. The communication of doctrine is what takes a believer from ignorance or infancy to a mature state.
