THE ETERNAL COUNSEL OF GOD by Apostle Joshua Selman

In this sermon, Apostle Joshua Selman teaches about the eternal counsel of God that all believers must know. He said that It is important for believers to know the end process of our prayers, fasting, studying the word, abstaining from all appearances of evil, and all the spiritual equipping, to what end is all of these spiritual exercises. Beyond the experience of going to heaven, there is a prophetic destiny and it is the eternal plan of God. Without this knowledge, we may not value the things we are doing, and soon we may become weary. To understand this, we must know the eternal plans of God, the universal agenda. God’s counsels are eternal and immutable. “The counsel of the LORD standeth forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. So, there we see that from all eternity, God’s counsel for our salvation was centered in Christ, centered in him coming and fulfilling the work which he did, and then being glorified because he fulfilled it so faithfully.
