The honour of kings is to search out a matter and it is our understanding that believers in Christ are made to be kings and priests in God’s service. Thus it is our honour to search out a matter. Searching out means to penetrate, to examine a thing thoroughly and closely to find the deepest spiritual understanding. In other words, we need to know God intimately. However, we know that such a thing is not possible for us, for His thoughts are not our thoughts and our ways are not His ways.
