There is a relationship between death and glory. But except a corn of wheat falls in the ground and die it abides alone. So to be great in life you need to reverence the lord and die to your FLESH then you begin to encounter the glory of the lord.

The more you begin to die to the FLESH, the more you begin to experience the things of the spirit. GLORY is a realm you need to attain and before you can attain it you need the ministry of the HOLYSPIRIT.
