The Mystery of Iniquity 1 & 2 by Apostle Edu Udechukwu
The word mystery denotes something hidden for a time before God chooses to reveal it. The mystery of iniquity refers to the power of sin and lawlessness in the world. The mystery of iniquity is already at work in the world. The great mystery that has gone on since the days of Adam and Eve and their disobedience in the garden. The mystery of God. God, after the fall, became somewhat of a mystery. Sin did that. It caused a separation and the days of God dwelling with His creation came to an end. The lie of the enemy is that we don’t need God. That we can call the shots and be our own ‘god’. If we hold to that we still hold to the essence of the mystery of iniquity. Any true believer holds not to this however but points to ‘the mystery of godliness’ – that He, Jesus Christ, is godliness for He is God! And He is essential for any godly living.
