Although God made a whole and competent man who is sound and active enough to achieve the purpose of dominion over all other things created by God, there was a need for a complementary and befitting being for him to survive and sustain the purpose. The establishment of marriage by God is for particular purposes. No wonder God does not bring some purposeful youth together until they have both individually discovered their purposes and God realizes the need for a help meet for them. There are general purposes of marriage which include multiplication of kinds, relational advantage and other physical and social benefits. However, there are also special and destined purposes for individual marriages. Some marriages are purpose not just to give birth to a generational icon but also to train him/her with their experiences and God given grace. It is advisable not to marry just to fulfill the physical purposes of replenishment but to go for specific and destined purposes.
