God’s standard is ever strong and valid, He always set His perimeters right and fairly. Therefore, He does not get bothered by the mistakes of men, even those whom He(God) has destined for a greater purpose because, His ways are higher than our ways. You can not violate God’s standard then expect His standby. Until you realize how little your major exploits are in the presence of God, you will keep dwelling in the glory of the past. It is an error for a man to assume that he has arrived highest altitude in his walk with God. Watchfulness to a success-conscious man is not a mere a word, it is  like a treasure that requires utmost diligence. To be fully established in the purpose of God you must learn how to be conscious of the end of everything thereof.
