Many believers offer vague, generalized requests rather than utilizing prayer as a precision instrument. Without specific direction and help from the Holy Spirit, the requests can fall out of alignment with God’s will. Weak prayers often result from an unaligned or “complicated” vessel. Negative spiritual influences—such as malice, anger, hatred, and bitterness—create blockages that hinder the release of the spirit. Consecration, fasting, and seeking God’s grace are required to purify the vessel. The prayer altar is where divine alignment is maintained. When a believer stops praying because they don’t feel like it, or because they feel their prayers aren’t achieving anything, they yield to emotional manipulation rather than the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
