When we speak of God’s best, we are referring to nothing less than His desire and divine expectation for the believer. The Bible reveals that we are ordained to live God’s best in Christ. Yet, it also acknowledges that Believers can face challenges in some or even every area of their lives. Sadly, many Believers have come to a place of inner conflict because they do not understand that it is possible to face challenges in life, despite being a Believer in Christ. Many Believers have been taught to respond to challenging situations by either denying their existence or pretending they are not there. However, as Believers journey towards fulfilling destiny, they must understand that one or even every area of their lives can be confronted with challenges. Faith is not falsehood. There is a responsibility dimension to Kingdom living, and it’s important to understand how to engage the truths of God’s word to overcome the challenges we face. Never shy away from your battles or pretend your mountains do not exist. Experiencing God’s best and living the fullness of the faith life demands that we contend for rest in every area. From Scripture, we see that it is possible for the Believer to experience rest round about. To be in a state of Rest means to experience total, comprehensive, and unhindered peace, safety, sufficiency, liberty, and freedom from enemies and turmoil across every area of your life. The fact that you are succeeding in some areas of your life deos not mean you should settle for the limitations that remain in the other areas. God desires that you maximise the fullness of His provisions and press into all He has made available to you. Celebrating victories in the midst of your limitation deos not necessarily mean that you are experiencing or living in God’s best for your life.
