It is wrong for a believer to maintain a survival mentality throughout his/her life time. God has not made man to be poor nor barely survive in the surface of earth. He has made us all to flourish in His Glory. The devil in his cunning moves is responsible for distracting humanity with the need for material wealth and means of survival. Jesus has not died so that anybody can be rich. Abraham, Job, Solomon, Isaac and other patriarchs were known for their financial influences even before the physical birth of Jesus. Therefore making you rich is not the purpose for the coming of Jesus Christ. Meanwhile, the devil disturbing your finances, health, family and other aspect of your life is not really against you because you are human, He is fighting you in order to get back to God because God loves you.
