The story of David was narrated in this sermon of how he was supposed to go for war and was at home because he has been victorious every time he goes to war so he was at ease of not going to the battlefield to war. Success comes along with the temptation of living at ease and until we overcome this temptation we will not move to the next phase. David was at ease and not vigilant because he had the peace of God in him and the peace of God that lives in us does not guarantee you living at ease, we must be vigilant and live a life of ease. We must not slack because we are living a life of ease when God is preparing something better for you. A life of ease is tempting if you are not vigilant.
