HOLINESS AND SANCTIFICATION THROUGH Christ By Apostle Arome Osayi
Holiness is not just a word in the sight of God, It is a way of life that produces the true nature of God. The eye of the God the Bible say is too holy to behold iniquity. The judgement reserved for those in the pit of hell is severe because it is a region that is far away from the sight of God. If God then be this Holy and does not like anything unholy, how did man whose thought is full of evil and whose acts is always of evil then can be called the temple of God? How could God dwell in the man whose ways are full of evil and rebellion. The answer is, although, the eyes of the Lord can not behold iniquity and the presence of God can not abode abominations, the blood and person of Jesus Christ give believers a right standing in the sight of God. This does not mean the blood of Jesus gives permission to believers to sin willfully after they have confessed the Lord as their savour. It means that although we were once sinners, the blood of Jesus serves as atonement for the cleansing of our sins and grant us access in the presence of God. It is by grace we are save through faith in Jesus. There is always a concern for the life after confession of Christ and sins committed afterwards. Your life of holiness and sanctification after you have repented of your sin is not by you own power or desire to remain holy, it is not by your own will nor self punishment to be right. It is rather by the enablement that Christ gives through Holy Spirit and your submission to His dealings. Here is a deep teaching on the doctrine of Holiness and sanctification and you will be glad you listen to it.
