Whenever we are called into the service in the house of God, either directly by God or through human election, their is always a need for us to be a bit higher than those who we have been called to lead. It is not just a casual physical hight or self imposed sense of authority over other. It is rather a genuine spiritual height that is produced from a fruitful relationship with God. When you are made a leader, it was because they have discovered in you the qualities of a leader or the potential to build such qualities. Therefore, there is a need  for you to be at the forefront of Spirituality ahead your followers if you will be relevant and if you will experience any transformation in the lives of your followers. Although, the need for regular development must be not mistaken for a warn out lifestyle. Where as a leader you toil and labour so much that your personal life become that which your followers do not wish to have. Many people in the name of serving God and representing His call could not put thier own house and life together. The ironical part of it is that the followers will not even think about the great and selfless services that the leader has rendered at some time whenever such a leader’s life is in a mess.
