There is a protocol to receiving from the lord. There are three categories to receiving from the lord: What God has to offer (no relationship is needed to receive from God), To become part of God (There is relationship is needed to receive from God), You become a giver from the things God has given you. Blind bartimaeus was in the first category and the protocol which he received from God are: He believed God and He asked (called) for what he wanted.
