There are two principal reason for the creation of men: to worship him and to have dominion. So if you are not walking in the reality of dominion, you are not walking according to the will of God. Dominion means the ability to use the spiritual resources given to you to compel men and creation to come under the covering and submission of Christ and to allow the will of God find expression within your territory. Physical manifestation whether favour, wealth , wisdom cannot happen by the agency of man alone but it will take the spirit realm and in partnership of man to see it manifest. The reason a man life does not produce result is because he has not partner with the spirit of God. Nothing physical will be happen until it is connected to the realm of the spirit.
