THE DEMAND OF FOLLOWING HIM By Bro Segun Ariyo
“No one can come onto me, expect he be brought to me by my Father in heaven”, was one of the notable statements of Jesus Christ. You become a disciple of Jesus first of all as a believer brought onto Him by grace through faith in Him. You do not need to pay any amount for your redemption, Christ has paid for it. The Spirit of God convict you of your sin and you receive the grace to be called a child of God when you confess your sin and have faith that you are now a child of God. Most often, Christian folks talk of how evil there ways were before they met Christ and how difficult it would have been for them to decide in their own accord to give their lives to Him but the grace of God did it all for them. Redemption is a free gift. However, glorification requires principles. Although the lord helped you to know and be cleansed of your sin, to remain in him and never go back to your old ways of life, to remain in him and be able to bring more folks and remain with Him to receive the unfading crown of glory in the end, there are demands and principles. The demands are not human laws and they are not commandment, they are life in the image of God that are capable of making you a perfect believer suitable for the recommendation of God. Here is a powerful teaching that explains the basic principles of discipleship, you shall be listening. Click the links below to download the sermons now
