The power of God is given to man through the death of Jesus Christ. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to complement the power that has been given to man through the death of Christ on the cross. Many are powers given by the death of Jesus to man. We are given dominion over the curse of sin and we are given ability over the nature of rebellion towards the will of God. The first sin to be mentioned is that of rebellion. Satan was sent down to the earth for the sin of rebellion, He purposed in his mind to lift himself above the authority of God. Jesus destroyed the yolk of rebellion by offering Himself as the living sacrifice for the remission of sins and broke the power of selfishness. You have all things in Christ Jesus and Jesus plus nothing equal enough. It is your responsibility to declare and claim your victory in Christ always.
