The nature of your salvation experience go a long way in determining the quality of your life in faith. Many modern “christians” are the products of emotional preachings delivered by thier pastors. They responded to salvation only on the basis of the emotion and human reasoning which logically made them think that they need to have connection with Jesus. No wonder we have many “christians” who are not disciples of Jesus, many “christians ” who are full of activities and duties in the house of the lord whose lifestyle denies the power of God. They are in church not because thier spirit has been safe, they decided to joined the church because many people are known to be members of that church. They confess thier faith because the pastor said they have to if they will receive any good thing from God. They are those who learn and learn but never reach any level of knowledge. They, with mouth confess Jesus as thier lord but in thier heart, they are after thier personal gains. The true salvation is as a result of spiritual rebirth which purify the spirit of a man into that which is of God’s nature. When your confession is based on the truth and genuine love of God, you will be led by the spirit of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ will become your watchword. It is wrong to assume that your brain is what God focus upon. Just as most people say whenever they err( God understand ). He does understand everything, even things beyond your own thinking. However, God does not deal with human at the level of intellect or brain structure, God is concerned with your spirit, soul and body. You must be ready to permit the lordship of the Holy Spirit in your spirit if you will experience the real turnaround that is available in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
