It is one thing to be used, and still be used by God to see Revival spread at a transcontinental level. In addition to the revival that we have seen, there is another layer of revival, and it is called reformation. Revival without restoration will seldom last. When revival stops at revival, it will lack the longevity and continuity that God intended. Revival is a restorative process; it seeks to bring things back to the state and order God intended. Revival has failed to deliver maximally because even those used by God to spearhead it did not realise that there is another layer of revival, the layer of reformation. The move of God was designed to produce maximum impact and longevity. This cannot happen through revival alone; there must be a process of reformation. There is a unique operation of the Holy Spirit within the Church that equips Believers to become change agents, leaders, builders, and solution providers to their world. This is the mandate of a Reformer. When you see Believers confused as to what they should be doing, it is proof that the mandate of reformation has not been executed. On the other hand, when you see people on fire for God, praying and loving God, it is proof that the mandate of reformation has been properly executed. When Revival delivers its assignment, reformation is supposed to take over. This ensures that the Believer does not remain a one-sided Believer. Spirituality can lead to frustration if it does not connect to purpose. Reformation is the process of improving something by changing its composition, behaviour, and practice to make it better and more efficient. From a spiritual standpoint, reformation is the process of utilising the grace of God, alongside the power of structured mentorship, to transform a Believer and the Church at large into a force of change and transformation within society. Faith should not produce fools. Confessing faith while disregarding God, His systems, and His principles, and insisting on remaining lopsided, is what has affected the lives of many Believers. Hate and antagonism are not a winning strategy. You cannot use hate as a strategy for reformation. You cannot hate a people to change them. Love conquers darkness by shining. When our light becomes bring and wholesome, darkness becomes inconsequential.
