The word is the definition of a person called Jesus. Jesus is the word that became flesh, so the word we know carries two element: LIGHT AND LIFE. When we read the bible we read Jesus, The old testament is Jesus concealed and the new testament is Jesus revealed. We have the living word and the spoken word of Jesus. The possibilities in the word were mentioned in this sermon: The word of God is Quick (To have true life), it is scriptural confession that changes a man and not just positive confession alone. The word of God is life and it is effective. The word of the lord quicken and the meaning of quicken is to revitalize (to reproduce alive). The word of God brings illumination. The entrance of the word gives Light and understanding. so when the word of God comes it brings illumination and understanding. The absence of the word releases darkness and confusion.
