TRANSFORMATION, TRANSLATION NOT TWISTING By Bro. Gbile Akanni
Becoming a Christian has been viewed and accessed on various parameters by the modern age. Some has assumed that the transformation of life announced by Jesus and His disciples is not meant to affect one’s life totally. That is, there are some part of one’s life which must still remain in the pit of sin or immorality. They assumed bearing a Christian name is enough to be a Christian and some thought fasting periodically is enough to be righteous with God while fasting will nullify their lustful desires for fornication before. They long on their mind to please God and be known with Him, but much as they wish to please God, the cares of the things of the world still press them so seriously and this made them to twist their stand always. When twisting, the original location is maintained. Although one may be able to see other places or know what is happening at the side of the location, with twisting one can can not move from a sport to another. Most modern “Christian Folks” wish to please God and live for Him but thier longings are not supported with genuine transformation which is as a result of translation and not just a mere twist of their lives.
