Fruitfulness by The Spirit by Apostle Michael Orokpo

Fruitfulness means producing something that demonstrates growth, multiplication, and usefulness. In the Kingdom, fruitfulness goes beyond material success. A person can have money, influence, education, recognition, or a successful career and still be spiritually unfruitful. God’s expectation is that His life within the believer should produce visible results. This means that the Christian should progressively become more like Christ and increasingly demonstrate the character, nature, and works of the Spirit. The Word is one of the primary instruments God uses to develop His people. Scripture renews the mind, corrects wrong thinking, reveals God’s ways, and provides instruction for righteous living. As the Word takes root in a believer’s heart, it begins to produce transformation. The goal is therefore not simply to read the Bible but to allow the Bible to read and transform us. Christianity is not merely about receiving salvation and remaining unchanged. It is a journey of transformation in which the believer progressively becomes more like Christ and increasingly useful to God’s Kingdom. The first place God expects fruit is within the believer.
