Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. No man can earn, gain or obtain victory over Satan through his own effort. However, the Lord Jesus Christ has won an absolute victory over Satan and his demons and their works for all mankind through His death on the cross.

Therefore, the believers in Christ don’t need to seek or strive by any religious means to earn, gain or obtain victory over Satan, for the victory of Christ over Satan and his demons on the cross has been credited to their account.
