The most important thing is to know that you’re not honouring a book, but that you believe in the supremacy and the integrity of Scripture, and in its power to reveal God, Jesus Christ, salvation, destiny, and a future in Christ. Believing in the person and the ministry of the Holy Spirit is beyond speaking and praying in tongues. It takes the Holy Ghost for a person to be convicted, to give cheerfully, and to bear witness beyond an information. It is possible to pray in the Spirit and still limit the power and the ability of the Holy Spirit in your life. The effective utilization of the Holy Spirit begins with understanding His Person and His ministry, not merely as an advantage, but as “the advantage”.
