It is important that the children of God be able to know and understand that the Holy Spirit is a person just as God the father and God the Son are persons. The person of the Holy Spirit is given to help believers grow into the stature of Christ by bearing witness with their spirit and giving them the enablement to understand and live to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ. Until your mind is renewed by the words of God, you will find it difficult to appreciate the important of self discipline, seeking God’s kingdom, self denial and humbleness before God. You have to give place for the Holy Spirit in your life so that He can help your weaknesses.
