One of the advantages of a believer is prayer. This is because the things we seek as believers are not in the physical and there is a need for move into a realm that is higher than the one we are presently in and the only way to access that realm is through prayer. God has designed the world in such a way that if He needs to effect a change in the world, He only has to effect it through men. While it is true that God is sovereign, but He won’t do anything on earth without including men in the agenda. In order to achieve this men have to understand the burden in the heart of God. While you spend time in prayer, do you understand what the will of God is? Our prayers would literally be a waste if we don’t know what God wants us to pray about. For man to understand the burden in the heart of God, man must have intimacy with God. Intimacy is the kind of relationship He wants with us and through this process, we can understand the burdens of God and what we are to pray about or pray for.
