Dr Tim Godfrey is a Nigerian professional gospel singer, songwriter, music, producer, vocal instructor and music director. He has been regarded to be the Nigerian Version of Kirk Franklin and Tye Tribbett.  He was born on the 26th of August 1979 in Kaduna state, Nigeria, into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Godfrey. His full name is Timothy Chukwudi. He had his early education in Kaduna. He hails from Abia state, Nigeria

While growing up, Tim Godfrey had a flare for music. Meanwhile, he was riding the adult choir In his church, where he learned how to play musical instruments. He grew up in a family of nine where they had to struggle to fend for themselves.

Then later he started his music career. He released his first single titled Agidigba, which became a huge hit and was very successful. Through this hit single, He became well known, And it earned him some collaborations, with the like of Grammy nominee – Marvin sapp. He is the leader of the extreme crew and the owner of the record of extreme label, popularly known as rocks label records.

The group has performed and ministered in several places around the world. They’ve performed in South Africa during the Korra awards. And also in Ghana, during the Ghana music award in 2005 and 2006 respectively. They’ve also shared the stage with different gospel artists. They toured at 5 American States in June 2006.

In 2017, He started the fearless worship concert which holds annually together with his crew. They’ve won lots of awards. In 2018, he featured Travis green in NARA, Which became a worldwide hit.
