Time refers to just the space between birth and death. Eternal means that we have never had a beginning, and we won’t have an end. We have always existed in one form or another. When we talk in the Church about Time, we are referring to just the time here in mortality, the amount of time we are alive and kicking on planet earth.

It may seem a little odd to have to find a word to describe the space between birth and death, but we actually need to have a word for it.
