The suffering of the messiah is what brings glory to man, the cross brought glory to jesus and if you cannot suffer for God heaven will not give you a name. Suffering for the messiah is the only part to glory. Anyman that will deny his flesh will not deny the God. We share in Christ’s suffering when the cause of our suffering is the same as his – specifically, when the path of obedience and saying “no” to sin brings suffering into our lives.
